I have always loved cooking. I started feeding people at a very young age and I still love feeding people today!
I have many fond memories of cooking as a child. My favorite childhood toy was my sister’s Easy Bake oven – she seldom got a chance to use it. I had a miniature pie tin and made my own little pie with the leftover crust my mother gave me when she made a pie. And of course, helping prepare our homemade spaghetti sauce. A few years ago I got a chance to go to a local chef school. I took every class I could from French classic techniques to sauces and pastries, but my favorite by far was Italian. The Italian cooking technique series taught me so much about Italian food, culture and traditions, and I have been hooked ever since! What I love about Italian food is that it has something for everyone. From pizza, pasta, sandwiches to delicious chicken and beef entrees and some of the best ways to prepare seafood, you can even get picky eaters to eat fish. Then there are the desserts, not to mention the breads, cheeses and wines. Its no wonder Italian food is enjoyed all over the world!
I have built this website to share my love of Italian food and some of the tips and techniques I learned to help anyone prepare delicious dishes that will only taste like you slaved all day. Italian food can be healthy and tailored to accommodate a variety of different diets.
